Globe has achieved renewed ISO 22301:2019 certification for Business Continuity Management Systems (BCMS), reinforcing its proactive approach in safeguarding critical operations and ensuring uninterrupted services during crises. Globe said this certification, valid until 2027, reflects its commitment to maintaining a resilient framework that can swiftly recover from natural disasters and unforeseen disruptions.
Having held this certification since 2012, its continued success is a testament to its readiness to respond to any challenge. “Our efficient teams and processes guarantee essential services for customers, no matter the situation,” said Carlo Puno, Globe CFO, treasurer, and CRO.
Aligned with the ISO standard, Globe’s Business Continuity Policy ensures the safety of employees, protection of customer data, and infrastructure reliability. Given the Philippines’ vulnerability to natural disasters, Globe’s strategy includes retrofitting towers to meet national standards, enhancing backup power, and using advanced technologies like Cell Broadcast Systems (CBS) for geo-targeted alerts.
Post-disaster, Globe’s Rapid Deployment Solutions, such as Network-in-a-Box and Cell Sites on Wheels, help restore connectivity and support disaster relief efforts like free calls and charging stations.
This renewed certification highlights Globe’s commitment to upholding the highest standards of resilience and reliability in business continuity.
