    Italpinas co-developing sustainable projects in Palawan, Pampanga, and Boracay

    Italpinas Development Corp. (IDC), a listed boutique property developer, has announced five new joint venture development projects in Puerto Princesa (Palawan), Pampanga, and Boracay in keeping with its contemporary Italian and environmentally responsible architecture designs.

    Romolo Nati, IDC chairman and CEO, emphasized the company’s focus on sustainability, saying, “IDC is unique for its elegant and green architecture. Palawan is one of a kind for its natural beauty and its environmentalist culture. This is a perfect match.” He said IDC’s design ethos complement Palawan’s policies, such as the Palawan Council for Sustainable Development and the Palawan Sustainable Development Strategy and Action Plan.

    Among the notable projects, IDC will build a mixed-use development on a 2,000-square-meter lot in Bancao-Bancao, Puerto Princesa City. The project will feature condominium living, commercial spaces, and retail areas, designed to foster community engagement and creativity. Additionally, IDC will develop a walk-up mixed-use project on a 5,400-square-meter lot in Tagburos, Puerto Princesa, and Verona Costa Verde, a walk-up condominium development spanning 7,600 square meters in Tiniguiban, Puerto Princesa.

    In collaboration with the Co family, IDC is co-developing Riviera Puerto, a premium residential and leisure development aong Mitra Road, Puerto Princesa. The project is currently in the design phase.

    In Pampanga, IDC will launch Parco Leonardo, a 15-hectare subdivision inspired by Italian design principles. The company will also develop Miramare Residences in Boracay, a branded condotel and collection of branded residences set along the beachfront. This development, consisting of around 140 apartments, will feature modern architecture and a strong commitment to sustainability.

    The Co family, which acquired a 15 percent stake in IDC in November 2024, joins the company as a key equity partner in these ventures. These new collaborations mark an important step in IDC’s expansion, further solidifying its position as a leader in sustainable, design-driven real estate development in the Philippines.
