Esyasoft targets growth via BCDA energy expansion

PT Esyasoft Technologies Asia is stepping up its ambitions in the Philippines, using a new partnership with the Bases Conversion and Development Authority (BCDA) as a springboard into the country’s accelerating energy transition.

Under a freshly signed memorandum of understanding, Esyasoft will collaborate with BCDA to evaluate and deploy advanced energy solutions across key developments, including New Clark City.

Central to the plan are battery energy storage systems (BESS), seen as critical to stabilizing the grid, improving energy security, and enabling deeper integration of renewable power.

The agreement underscores the company’s broader strategy of anchoring Esyasoft’s Southeast Asian expansion in large, government-led infrastructure projects.

Backed by its Abu Dhabi-based parent, the company focuses on AI-driven digital infrastructure spanning smart grids, water and gas systems, and energy storage—capabilities it is now positioning for scale in the Philippine market.

BCDA said the tie-up aligns with national policy momentum. “This partnership aligns with the government’s direction of advancing sustainable, renewable, and clean energy solutions,” said Joshua M. Bingcang, pointing to the Philippines’ target of sourcing more than 50 percent of its energy mix from clean sources by 2030.

The he collaboration offers more than a foothold for Esyasoft, it provides a live showcase. New Clark City, a flagship smart and green development, presents an opportunity to deploy integrated energy systems that combine digital intelligence with renewable generation, potentially creating a replicable model for other estates.

The partnership also broadly highlights rising interest from global technology firms in the Philippines’ low-carbon transition.

Success within BCDA-managed projects could translate into a steady pipeline for Esyasoft, positioning the company as a key enabler of next-generation energy infrastructure in the region.
