SHERA, one of the largest fiber-cement manufacturers in the ASEAN, on Thursday introduced its products at the Philippine World Building and Construction Exposition (WORLDBEX). At the four-day convention, the Thai company showcased its fiber-cement innovation.
Its fiber cement product is best used for different ceilings, floors, and wall applications such as wall cladding, sidings, floor decking, ceiling eaves, and many more.
Officials in the Philippines said the company is expanding its operations beyond Thailand and has made a P2-billion investment in business development plans in the country that includes the soon-to-open construction plant in Mabalacat, Pampanga.
SHERA looks forward to manufacturing sustainable and eco-friendly products and make them accessible to Filipinos, particularly those looking to integrate greener solutions into their establishments, buildings, or even homes.
In addition, Filipinos in the field of construction can look forward to working with SHERA as the company will soon open up plenty of job opportunities once the construction plant is completed and open for operations by the end of this year in time for its 50th anniversary in the industry.
SHERA country head Thunnop Jumpasri and executive vice president for Marketing, Veerasak Kittinantakool, said its products soon available in the Philippines are being used to build promising buildings and establishments around the world.
