DMCI Homes Inc. is spending P6 billion to develop the Moncello Crest, a new residential resort project in the municipality of Tuba in Benguet.
An initial inventory of 522 units was launched last month, the company said.
Moncello Crest, a brand under DMCI Homes Leisure Residences, is only a few minutes’ drive from Baguio City.
“This new development promises to be a haven for those seeking both a vacation home and a lucrative investment opportunity,” the company said.
Moncello Crest is designed as a mountain resort with amenities like a heated outdoor jacuzzi and fire pits for guests to keep warm.
The complex will host an all-day dining restaurant, café, a game room, a spa, gym, multi-purpose athletics play area, and daycare center, as well as a convention center for hosting large events.
Under Moncello Crest’s rental pool program, property owners may leave their units under hotel operator management to earn rental profits.
The units will continue to be owned by their buyers but get 30 percent of rental revenue.
Tuba, Benguet has emerged a popular tourist destination given its proximity to Baguio City and its thriving agri-tourism industry. It provides a convenient and a more peaceful alternative for those looking to enjoy the country’s summer capital with less noise, pollution and traffic.
