Raslag selling Pampanga property to focus in Bataan instead

Renewable energy developer Raslag Corp. is selling its property in Mexico, Pampanga for P1.62 billion as it shifts focus in developing its 45-megawatt solar project in Hermosa, Bataan instead.

Raslag told the Philippine Stock Exchange said the bidding sale will be conducted on an as-is, where-is basis for the 20 contiguous lots aggregating 425,100 square meters some 2.2 kilometers northwest of the North Luzon Expressway (NLEX) Mexico exit tollgate and 8.4 kilometers northwest of Mexico town proper.

The property was initially the chosen site for the Raslag-5 solar power project now up for sale due to power line congestion constraints.

Raslag has scheduled a pre-bidding conference on 8 August 8 and the submission of bids on 29 August this year.

Raslag in 2023 announced a proposed tie-up with a Hong Kong-based enterprise but did not provide details.

Raslag Corp. commercially operates facilities generating 41.198 MW. Facilities under construction will generate another 36.646 MW.
