The University of Asia and the Pacific (UA&P) has launched its first regional executive education center, CORE Cebu, in partnership with Cebu Landmasters Inc. (CLI), marking a key milestone in the university’s Vision 2030 to establish a national presence across three strategic locations.
CORE—short for Continuing Real-World Education—will offer executive-level certificate programs and short courses tailored to industry demands in the Visayas and Mindanao regions, including Data Governance, Sustainability Management, and Strategic Business Economics.
“Cebu City was a natural and strategic choice for this expansion,” said Jose L. Cuisia Jr., chairman of the UA&P Foundation Inc., citing strong alumni engagement in the region. The facility will be located at the Latitude Corporate Center in Cebu Business Park, with design by AIDEA and spaces equipped to host both local and international faculty, including those from IESE Business School in Barcelona.
UA&P president Dr. Winston Conrad Padojinog described CORE as “a platform for human flourishing, professional growth, and transformative leadership,” while vice president for business development Roberto Miguel Roque called the project “a shared vision with many stakeholders.”
The collaboration with CLI formalizes UA&P’s commercial commitment to expanding executive education outside Metro Manila and signals long-term investment in regional leadership development across the Asia-Pacific.
