The Bangko Sentral ng Pilipinas (BSP) recognized 18 institutional partners of its head office during the 2025 Outstanding BSP Stakeholders Appreciation Ceremony (OBSAC) held on 18 July.
BSP monetary board member Romeo L. Bernardo led the event, commending the honorees for their vital contributions. “We may come from different spaces and bring different approaches, but when we work together, meaningful results follow,” he said.
Launched in 2004, OBSAC celebrates organizations that support the BSP’s mandates on price and financial stability, efficient payment systems, and initiatives in financial inclusion, education, digitalization, consumer protection, cyber hygiene, research, and anti-money laundering.
The 2025 institutional awardees are:
- Banks and Financial Institutions: Bank of the Philippine Islands (BPI), BDO Unibank (BDO), CARD SME Bank, Inc., Cebuana Lhuillier Rural Bank, EastWest Banking Corporation, Land Bank of the Philippines, Rizal Commercial Banking Corporation
- Government Agencies and LGUs: Bureau of Fire Protection, Bureau of Local Government Development – DILG, City Government of Cabanatuan, Provincial Government of Pangasinan
- Industry and Professional Groups: IT & Business Process Association of the Philippines, Association of Bank Compliance Officers of the Philippines, Bankers Institute of the Philippines, Inc.
- Foundations and Research Institutions: BDO Foundation, Cambridge SupTech Lab, Innovations for Poverty Action
- Retail Partner: Robinsons Supermarket
The BSP will also conduct similar ceremonies across North Luzon, South Luzon, Visayas, and Mindanao to recognize regional partners.
