SM Investments Corp. (SM Investments), the parent company of the SM Group, received the Platinum Award for Asia’s Best Materiality Reporting at the 11th Asia Sustainability Reporting Awards (ASRA)held recently at the Grand Hyatt Singapore.
The company’s Integrated Report 2024 was also named a finalist for Asia’s Best Integrated Report (Large Company) category.
SM Investments president and CEO Frederic C. DyBuncio said the recognition underscores the company’s commitment to transparency and accountability. “We see sustainability as an ongoing journey of creating impact that endures,” DyBuncio noted.
ASRA founder and CSRWorks managing director Rajesh Chhabara commended SM Investments for demonstrating excellence in sustainability reporting and linking sustainability performance with long-term value creation and stakeholder trust.
Organized by CSRWorks International, the ASRA is considered Asia’s most prestigious platform honoring excellence in sustainability reporting. This year’s awards gathered leading companies from 17 countries, evaluated through a rigorous multi-stage process involving detailed assessments, peer reviews, and stakeholder reputation checks.
