Globe hits 90% AI adoption, expands hands-on innovation with Google and AWS

Globe on Monday reported reaching a 90 percent adoption rate of Gemini for Workspace as of January 2026, marking a major step in its company-wide use of artificial intelligence (AI). The milestone shows strong participation across teams and reflects a shift toward using AI in everyday work, including automation tools, productivity apps, and AI-powered systems.

The company said the achievement is part of its goal to make AI accessible to all employees. Instead of relying only on top-down directives, Globe is encouraging staff to experiment with AI and apply it in their daily tasks. This puts Globe well above the global average, where only 55 percent of companies report using AI in any form.

Globe chief  AI officer Anton Bonifacio said employees are not just interested in AI but are actively using it to improve their work processes. The company aims to make AI practical and useful across all teams.

To build on this progress, Globe partnered with Google Cloud to hold workshops focused on “agentic AI,” where systems can perform tasks on behalf of users. The sessions included demonstrations, group discussions, and planning exercises to identify real-world applications. Globe is also working on an internal system to scale these AI solutions across departments.

In addition, Globe collaborated with AWS on a separate workshop that trained teams to design AI-driven workflows. These workflows aim to automate repetitive tasks, especially in software development processes.

Globe said these efforts are helping employees move from basic awareness of AI to real-world application. The company plans to continue expanding AI use by giving teams more tools, training, and opportunities to experiment.

With 90 percent adoption and ongoing initiatives, Globe said its AI strategy is now focused on delivering practical results and long-term impact across the organization.
