Federal Land sees steady demand despite incertainty

Federal Land NRE Global Inc. (FNG) said demand for its projects remains strong despite economic uncertainties, particularly in its 600-hectare River Park development in Cavite.

FNG president William Thomas F. Mirasol said the company has not seen any slowdown in sales since February, with March performing well and April expected to match or exceed it.

However, Mirasol noted that the company remains cautious due to global risks, such as rising fuel prices linked to conflict in the Middle East. He said project launches are carefully planned and based on data to ensure demand is sustainable. If demand appears uncertain, the company may slow down development.

Mirasol emphasized that housing demand in the Philippines remains high, with a backlog estimated at 4 million to 6 million units. He added that success depends on offering the right product at the right price, along with flexible and affordable payment terms.

The River Park township, located in Imus and General Trias, is expected to generate around 704,000 jobs and accommodate nearly 695,000 residents once completed.
