Globe Telecom Inc. is expanding its “buy now, pay later” connectivity services to help prepaid users stay connected despite ongoing global challenges.
The company offers load and promo loans through Globe Prepaid and TM, allowing customers to access call, text, and data services even with zero balance. These include small emergency offers for quick communication needs, as well as higher-value options like data promos and load packages for everyday use.
Globe said the service is designed to support users in urgent situations and daily digital activities by removing barriers to connectivity.
Repayment is automatic and deducted from the user’s next reload. The company has also introduced a new feature where part of a customer’s promo top-up is used to gradually pay off existing loans, making repayment more flexible.
A Globe executive said the initiative aims to address real-life situations where staying connected is essential, from emergencies to work and communication with family.
