ACMobility has relaunched its electric vehicle charging membership program under a new name, ChargePlus, rolling out a redesigned system aimed at easing adoption hurdles and improving the charging experience for drivers.
The overhaul replaces the company’s previous discount-based model with a more flexible, credit-driven approach, allowing users to pay based on actual consumption.
Central to the update is the removal of rigid expiration periods on purchased credits. Instead, credits remain valid as long as they are used at least once every six months, addressing customer concerns over forfeited balances.
The relaunch comes as electric vehicle uptake in the Philippines steadily gains ground, with charging access and convenience emerging as key factors in sustaining growth.
ACMobility said the revamped program is designed to better accommodate both frequent users and those who charge intermittently, offering greater control over spending and usage.
ChargePlus also introduces a tiered incentive structure, where larger credit purchases unlock additional value. Customers can receive bonus credits of up to 20 percent, alongside access to partner perks. These include vehicle care services, discounts on accessories from BYD, and maintenance benefits at Kia dealerships.
Further enhancements include mobile charging support and planned upgrades through the Evro app, such as charger reservations and remote session management.
ACMobility said the initiative forms part of its broader push to build a more accessible and dependable EV ecosystem, as it continues expanding its charging network nationwide.
