V-GREEN, a global electric vehicle (EV) charging developer, is ramping up its presence in the Philippines with new partnerships aimed at fast-tracking large-scale EV charging and battery-swapping networks.
The company has signed memoranda of understanding with the Provincial Government of Bataan and independent fuel retailer Clean Fuel to deploy charging infrastructure in high-traffic areas across Bataan and Cavite. The initiative targets both electric cars and two-wheelers, aiming to make EV adoption more practical nationwide.
Under the Bataan partnership, V-GREEN plans a province-wide network covering one city and 11 municipalities, featuring 600 charging stations and 1,200 battery-swapping stations.
The company will manage supply, installation, operations, and maintenance, while the provincial government facilitates permitting, site coordination, and local government alignment.
Meanwhile, the collaboration with Clean Fuel seeks to install EV chargers at key high-traffic fuel stations in Dasmariñas, Cavite. With over 100 locations across Luzon, Clean Fuel’s network will serve as a ready-made platform for integrating EV charging into existing mobility hubs.
The partnerships are also expected to support VinFast’s upcoming electric scooter rollout in the Philippines by ensuring the necessary battery-swapping infrastructure is in place, while enhancing convenience for current EV users.
“Through partnerships, we can scale infrastructure and make EV charging more accessible and practical for everyday users,” said V-GREEN Global CEO Nguyen Anh Quynh. Bataan Governor Jose Enrique S. Garcia III noted the move aligns with the province’s long-term sustainable mobility goals.
With these initiatives, V-GREEN is positioning the Philippines to ride the EV wave with speed and scale.
