Mixed fuel price adjustments expected this week

The various fuel retailers indicate mixed price adjustments for gasoline and diesel will take effect this week. Gasoline may see a change ranging from a decrease of ₱0.10 to an increase of ₱1.90 per liter. Diesel, meanwhile, could drop by up to ₱1.00 or rise by ₱0.90 per liter. Kerosene price forecasts were not provided.

Global crude oil costs have eased slightly, supported by improving supply conditions. Increased production from Gulf producers and restored shipping flows through the Strait of Hormuz have helped stabilize markets. However, uncertainties remain. A sanctions waiver allowing Iranian crude into the market, alongside high seasonal demand and limited exports from China, continue to influence price directions. Tight fundamentals in the Asian gasoline market also keep prices supported, while increased supply from the Middle East puts downward pressure on diesel rates.

Last week, gasoline prices fell by ₱3.90 to ₱5.90 per liter. Diesel dropped between ₱9.04 and ₱11.04, and kerosene decreased by ₱9.82 to ₱11.82 per liter. Data from the Department of Energy shows prices in Metro Manila for June 16–22 averaging P79.80 per liter for RON 91 gasoline, ₱78.20 for diesel, and ₱107.20 for kerosene.
