PEZA clears path for Hann Reserve tourism project

The Philippine Economic Zone Authority (PEZA) has registered Hann Philippines Inc. as a Tourism Ecozone Domestic Market Enterprise, clearing the way for the continued development of its multibillion-peso Hann Reserve project in New Clark City.

The registration allows the company to develop and operate tourism facilities within the integrated mixed-use estate under the PEZA framework, reinforcing the government’s push to attract investments beyond traditional manufacturing into high-value tourism projects.

The Registration Agreement was signed on June 23 by PEZA Director General Tereso Panga and Hann Philippines Vice President for Finance, Corporate Secretary and Treasurer Mitchell Estacio.

Among the project’s centerpiece attractions are the country’s first Professional Golfers’ Association of America-affiliated golf courses, complemented by clubhouses and food and beverage facilities aimed at positioning Hann Reserve as a premier golf and leisure destination.

The development carries an initial investment of about P10 billion and is expected to generate more than 220 direct jobs while boosting tourism-driven economic activity in Central Luzon.

The registration builds on a supplemental agreement signed in August 2025. Hann Reserve began preview operations in January and is moving toward full commercial operations.

PEZA said the project reflects sustained investor confidence in the country’s economic zones and demonstrates how the incentive system can support large-scale tourism developments alongside export-oriented industries.

The agency also expects the investment to strengthen New Clark City’s emergence as a major tourism and investment hub by attracting more visitors, creating business opportunities for local enterprises and generating jobs across hospitality, retail and related sectors.

With the regulatory framework now in place, Hann Reserve is poised to accelerate its development, supporting the government’s broader strategy of using economic zones to spur regional growth and elevate Central Luzon as a globally competitive tourism destination.
