GCash has introduced a new service called GSukli, letting customers receive their change digitally in their GCash wallets at no extra cost.
Starting nationwide at all Bench stores, the service will expand to other Suyen Corporation brands soon. Instead of getting physical coins, shoppers can have their change from in-store purchases credited directly to their GCash accounts.
For change amounts up to P199.99, customers only need to share their registered GCash mobile number with the cashier. They will get an SMS confirmation once the amount is successfully sent to their wallet.
“Small amounts can go a long way when made easily accessible,” said Barbie Dapul, chief operating officer and general manager for consumer business at G-Xchange, Inc. She added that the feature shows GCash’s drive to build practical, inclusive financial tools and make switching between cash and digital payments smooth for everyone.
The partnership with Bench brings this digital solution to everyday retail, especially helping those who still use cash for regular shopping. “Bench has always been committed to making everyday experiences simpler and more convenient for our customers,” said Bryan C. Lim, vice president for business development at Bench. He noted that GSukli turns change into something useful while making checkout faster and easier for every in-store visit.
The launch comes as digital payments grow more popular across the Philippines, even as cash remains widely used for small, daily transactions. GSukli bridges that gap—giving people a simple, free way to manage small change without dealing with coins.
