Philippine Airlines (PAL) has assigned its top‑of‑the‑line Airbus A350‑1000 to its daily non‑stop services linking Manila and San Francisco, bringing the carrier’s latest long‑haul travel experience to the U.S. West Coast year‑round just ahead of the peak holiday travel period. The upgraded aircraft adds more overall seating capacity and premium travel choices for passengers heading to and from the United States during one of the busiest booking windows of the year.
The A350‑1000 is fitted with 42 Business Class suites arranged in a 1‑2‑1 layout, 24 Premium Economy seats, and 316 Economy Class seats for long‑haul comfort. All cabins come equipped with 4K in‑flight entertainment screens, on‑board Wi‑Fi, in‑seat power outlets plus both USB‑A and USB‑C charging ports, letting travelers stay connected, entertained or productive across the trans‑Pacific trip.
For PAL, the shift carries key corporate and operational weight: as the newest and largest plane in its fleet, the A350‑1000 offers better fuel economy, more operational flexibility and extra cargo space. These improvements back the airline’s broader growth goals while supporting more sustainable and dependable long‑haul flights. PAL noted that its ongoing investments in modern aircraft and wider global routes are part of its strategy to strengthen links between the Philippines and international destinations.
