Concreat Holdings bags ACES 2026 Green Initiative Award

Concreat Holdings Philippines (CHP) has received the Green Initiative Award at the Asia Corporate Excellence & Sustainability Awards 2026 for advancing responsible environmental practices in cement manufacturing.

The award recognizes CHP’s efforts in better resource use, waste reduction, and environmental management. Through cement co-processing, CHP turned nearly 30,000 metric tons of non-recyclable waste into alternative fuel in 2025 alone, diverting these materials away from landfills. Its waste heat recovery facilities in Antipolo and Cebu generated 24,000 megawatt-hours of electricity last year, cutting grid power reliance, while the company also conserves around 50 million liters of water yearly through production reuse.

“This recognition reflects the work of our teams and encourages us to build on what we have achieved,” said CHP President and CEO Herbert M. Consunji. Organized by the MORS Group, the ACES Awards honor Asian companies for sustainability excellence. For CHP, the award reinforces its commitment to greener production while supporting national infrastructure growth.
