Beep system-owned AF Payments, Inc. has partnered with Grab Philippines to boost its reward program for loyal customers.
“AF Payments partnered with Grab Philippines to show unified support for our customers and somehow help ease the burdens of their daily commute,” JJ Moreno, president and chief executive of AF Payments said.
The company is jointly owned by Ayala Corp. and by Metro Pacific Investments Corp.
“Like with beep, Filipinos have grown accustomed to these ride-hailing services for their ease of use and reliability. We aim to continue providing the best service to the millions of commuters in the country,” he added.
Through the partnership, Filipino commuters who avidly use their beep card can avail of special discount vouchers from GrabCar and MOVE IT – a homegrown motorcycle taxi company powered by Grab.
To avail of the discount vouchers, customers simply present their beep™ app and a registered beep card at participating terminals, then reload a minimum of P200. This entitles the customer to a GrabCar voucher worth P100 off, which can be applied for rides with a minimum fare of P200. Customers also have the option to avail of a MOVE IT voucher for a 50 percent discount, effectively slashing off as high as P40 from the total fare.
Participating terminals include EDSA McKinley (BGC Bus), Market Market (BGC Bus), Nuvali (Tas Trans/San Agustin), Starmall Alabang (RRCG), One Ayala Terminal (RRCG, Tas Trans, San Agustin), NAIA Terminal 3 (UBE Express), Trinoma (Precious Grace Transport), and Antipolo (RRCG).
“Every Filipino commuter deserves transportation options that are safe, reliable, convenient, and cost-effective. And it is Grab’s steadfast commitment to be able to serve this demand with our above-par mobility services such as GrabCar; and motorcycle hailing from our strategic partner MOVE IT,” Ronald Roda, Grab Philippines chief operating officer, said.
The reloadable beep card is available at all LRT 1, LRT 2, and MRT 3 stations, select convenience stores, and online in the official Shopee, Lazada, and Facebook Marketplace stores while supplies last. It can be used in the elevated rail lines, select bus lines and P2P buses, modern jeepneys, and partner retail establishments.
