    Ovialand unveils second housing project with Takara Leben in San Pablo

    Boutique housing developer Ovialand Inc. has launched its second project in partnership with Japan’s Takara Leben Co. Ltd., marking another step toward expanding its presence in the Philippines. The new development, Sentro, is a 9.7-hectare residential community located along Barangay San Crispin in San Pablo, Laguna.

    Expected to be completed by late 2025, Sentro will offer 746 housing units, with prices ranging from P3 million to P5 million, according to Pammy Olivares-Vital, president and CEO of Ovialand. The development is just three minutes away from San Pablo’s city center and features a 20-meter frontage, providing easy access to essential services and urban amenities.

    “We are excited to launch Sentro, which represents the next chapter in our successful partnership with Takara Leben,” said Vital. “This project is aligned with our goal of creating sustainable suburban communities that offer the comfort of suburban living, without compromising on the convenience of city essentials.”

    The Sentro community will feature a mix of townhouses, duplexes, and single-detached units. The homes will be built using pre-cast technology, enabling faster construction times and ensuring that homeowners can move in within six months of turnover.

    The development will enhance Ovialand’s footprint in San Pablo, where it has already completed nearly 3,000 housing units. The company has been active in the area since 2018, with other ongoing projects such as Santevi, Sannera, and Savana. The first joint venture project with Takara Leben, Savana South, broke ground in October 2023, featuring 657 house-and-lot units and an array of community amenities.

    Ovialand and Takara Leben’s partnership aims to create more than five residential projects in the coming years, with Sentro being a key part of their strategy to expand Ovialand’s market reach. Takara Leben, a Japanese developer specializing in condominiums and real estate leasing, brings its extensive expertise to the partnership, ensuring the quality and success of each project.
