Global cybersecurity firm Palo Alto Networks has rolled out a new suite of security solutions across ASEAN markets, including the Philippines, as enterprises grapple with rising risks tied to cloud computing and artificial intelligence.
Speaking at a virtual press briefing, Erik Papir, senior director for ASEAN technical solutions, said the company’s latest offerings reflect a fundamental shift in enterprise security architecture.
With work increasingly conducted across browsers, cloud platforms, and AI-driven systems, he noted that traditional security perimeters are no longer sufficient.
“The browser has become the front line of day-to-day work, where access, activity, and data intersect,” Papir said, adding that it is now a primary point of exposure to evolving cyber threats.
To address these risks, Palo Alto Networks introduced an integrated portfolio anchored on Prisma Browser for Business, a secure workspace designed to protect organizations—particularly small and mid-sized firms—from phishing, ransomware, and AI-related data leaks, while enabling flexible work across devices.
The company also launched Prisma AIRS 3.0, aimed at securing the full lifecycle of agentic AI, from discovery to real-time execution, helping close visibility gaps as enterprises adopt autonomous systems. Meanwhile, its Next-Generation Trust Security (NGTS) solution automates certificate management to reduce outages and strengthen resilience amid rapidly shrinking encryption lifecycles.
Rounding out the portfolio is Prisma SASE, which integrates network and security services to provide end-to-end protection across users, applications, and data in distributed environments.
Papir said the new solutions are designed to help organizations scale AI adoption securely, positioning cybersecurity as a key enabler of digital transformation in Southeast Asia.
