The Department of Energy (DOE) announced that fuel prices will go down again starting Tuesday, with minimum rollbacks of P3.41 per liter for gasoline, P24.94 for diesel, and P2 for kerosene.
DOE Secretary Sharon Garin said the adjustments were confirmed by Ferdinand Marcos Jr., who urged fuel retailers to fully implement the price cuts.
The DOE said the decrease is due to easing global oil prices, driven by improving diplomatic developments in the Middle East.
If implemented, this will mark the second straight week of rollbacks, bringing total reductions to at least P7.84 per liter for gasoline, P47.94 for diesel, and P13.50 for kerosene.
Latest DOE data show that as of April 14–20, fuel prices in Metro Manila average P86.10 per liter for gasoline, P123.40 for diesel, and P154.60 for kerosene.
