FAST expands fleet as delivery demand accelerates

FAST Logistics Group is adding more horsepower to its nationwide network, rolling out 45 new delivery vehicles as businesses demand quicker deliveries and supply chains stretch deeper into the regions.

The expansion strengthens the company’s position as the country’s largest third-party logistics (3PL) provider while sharpening its ability to handle the growing flow of goods driven by e-commerce, regional trade, and expanding consumer markets.

The new fleet includes 25 compact delivery vehicles dedicated to last-leg deliveries and less-than-container load (LCL) and less-than-truckload (LTL) shipments. FAST also deployed five 10-wheeler wing vans and 15 six-wheeler trucks to move larger freight volumes more efficiently. The additions bring its nationwide fleet to more than 3,100 trucks serving Luzon, Visayas, and Mindanao.

FAST Logistics CEO Manuel L. Onrejas Jr. said the investment will allow the company to respond faster to customer requirements, increase delivery frequency, and improve service reliability across its network.

The smaller vehicles have been assigned to Cebu, Iloilo, Bacolod, Tacloban, Davao, Cagayan de Oro, General Santos, Butuan, Zamboanga, and Palawan, extending delivery reach in fast-growing regional markets. Designed for both city streets and provincial routes, they will support customers ranging from multinational firms to micro, small, and medium enterprises operating in retail, fast-moving consumer goods, pharmaceuticals, automotive, and agribusiness.

Meanwhile, the larger trucks will strengthen mid-mile logistics by improving cargo movement between ports, airports, warehouses, and distribution hubs—a segment that often determines how quickly products reach store shelves and consumers.

The investment reflects a broader trend reshaping Philippine logistics. As businesses place greater emphasis on speed, reliability, and nationwide reach, competitive advantage increasingly depends not just on moving freight across islands, but on delivering it efficiently to the customer’s doorstep. For logistics providers, the last mile is no longer the final leg of the journey. It is where customer expectations are won or lost.
