ASLAG, through a competitive bidding process conducted by its Bids and Awards Committee, has awarded Greencity Energy Philippines Inc. the role of owner’s engineer for the 100-megaWatt alternating current Raslag Liwayway Solar Power and Battery Energy Storage System Project.
The Liwayway solar farm will be developed by its subsidiary, RASLAG Liwayway, Inc., in Barangay Liwayway, Sta. Rosa, Nueva Ecija.
As owner’s engineer, Greencity Energy, supported by its German-led technical team, will serve as ASLAG’s trusted partner throughout the project. The firm will oversee project development, design review, procurement support, construction supervision, testing and commissioning, and assist with the operations and maintenance transition. The engagement period is set at 18 months, subject to adjustment as needed.
Greencity Energy is a globally recognized engineering and consulting firm specializing in renewable energy, particularly in photovoltaic technologies. Its portfolio includes work as developer, engineer, and project manager for over 1 gigawatt-peak (GWp) of cumulative PV capacity worldwide. The company also offers lenders’ technical advisory and project development services internationally.
With this collaboration, ASLAG and GCE aim to build a world-class solar power facility that prioritizes safety, efficiency, and sustainability, adhering to both local and international standards.
