Manulife Philippines has appointed Joy Ann Concepcion as its new chief marketing officer, effective Monday.
Concepcion will join the company’s executive committee and lead its overall marketing strategy. Her role covers brand and advertising, social media, digital platforms, customer experience, and growth initiatives, including the use of artificial intelligence.
The company said she will focus on strengthening its brand, improving customer experience, and supporting long-term business growth.
President and CEO Rahul Hora described Concepcion as an experienced leader with strong skills in marketing and digital transformation, adding that her appointment will help the company better serve Filipino customers.
Concepcion has been with Manulife since 2017 and has held several leadership roles in marketing. She said her priority is to simplify customer experience, strengthen the brand, and turn marketing plans into meaningful growth.
Hora also noted that while the company started the year strong, global events such as the Middle East conflict affected momentum. Still, interest in Manulife’s products—especially those focused on long-term savings and health—continues to grow as more customers evaluate their financial and health needs.
