The Philippine automotive industry is set to rev into high gear at the 10th Philippine International Motor Show (PIMS), happening June 4–7 at the World Trade Center Manila. Organizers are touting this year’s edition as the biggest yet, driven by surging consumer interest in fuel-efficient and electrified vehicles.
Hosted by the Chamber of Automotive Manufacturers of the Philippines, Inc. (CAMPI), the event will showcase 17 automotive brands and over 150 vehicle models, including roughly 75 electrified units, ranging from hybrids to fully electric vehicles.
“We aim to present a variety of choices, recognizing there is no single solution to today’s challenges or those ahead,” said CAMPI President Jose Maria Atienza, highlighting the need for diversified mobility options amid ongoing fuel-related concerns.
Top brands set to appear include BAIC, Chery, Honda, Toyota, Tesla, and VinFast. “With 17 brands competing under one roof, the Filipino customer is the real winner,” Atienza added during the launch.
Carrying the theme “Forward in Every Drive,” PIMS 2026 underscores CAMPI’s commitment to advancing a competitive, technology-driven automotive sector. The event will spotlight energy-efficient vehicles, smarter mobility solutions, and closer collaboration with government and industry partners to drive national progress.
