Raslag secures ERC compliance for Pampanga solar plant

Local renewable energy firm Raslag Corp. has obtained a Certificate of Compliance from the Energy Regulatory Commission for its 36.646-megawatt solar facility in Magalang, Pampanga. Though it began operating in October 2024, the COC formally registers the plant and confirms it meets all regulatory requirements, granting it associated rights and privileges.

The project is projected to generate 48 gigawatt-hours of power through 2026–2027, generating roughly ₱215 million in annual revenue. It will also cut some 34,000 metric tons of emissions yearly and supply electricity to 20,000 households.

In a related development, parent firm Angeles Power recently secured a ₱2-billion loan from BPI to fund the 49.9-MW Paldo solar project in Tarlac. Raslag has budgeted ₱2 to P3 billion this year and aims to reach 1,000 MW of total capacity by 2035. It currently has 78 MW in operation, with 140 MW in pre-development and 190 MW more proposed, including a 100-MW solar and battery storage facility in Nueva Ecija.
