PAL to restart nonstop Manila-Dubai flights this October

Philippine Airlines (PAL) will resume nonstop flights between Manila and Dubai starting October 2, 2026, reopening a vital air route connecting the Philippines to one of the Middle East’s top commercial and travel centers. Initially, four weekly flights will be offered, with plans to move to daily operations as demand and conditions permit.

The service will benefit overseas Filipinos, business travelers, tourists, and cargo clients, while Dubai also serves as a key gateway to the wider Middle East, Africa, and Europe. Travel convenience has improved further: eligible Filipino passport holders can now get a UAE visa on arrival if they hold valid visas or residence permits from countries including the US, EU, Australia, Japan, Singapore, South Korea, Canada, or New Zealand.

To mark the relaunch, PAL is running a limited-time introductory fare starting at $650 all-in for roundtrip travel, subject to terms. The announcement comes as the carrier shows strong financial momentum: it recorded a net income of $78.77 million in the first quarter of 2026, up 2.6 percent year-on-year, alongside total revenues of $895.70 million, a 9.7 percent increase. PAL also earned recognition in 2025 as Asia-Pacific’s most on-time airline from Cirium, and currently flies to 30 domestic and 41 international destinations across major global regions.
