Now on its second year, the awards recognize businesses and nonprofit organizations whose social impact initiatives address community needs while creating results that can be sustained and expanded.
The awards cover six categories: Education & Future Workforce; Environmental Sustainability & Resource Efficiency; Economic Empowerment & Livelihood Development; Healthcare Equity & Support; Disaster Response & Emergency Relief; and Community Impact & Civic Engagement.
The competition is open to large companies, small and medium enterprises, and nonprofit organizations, reflecting AmCham Philippines’ view that the scale of an organization does not determine the scale of its impact.
“Social impact is not measured simply by the size of a program, but by the difference it makes in people’s lives and the ability to sustain and extend that impact,” said Ebb Hinchliffe, executive director of AmCham Philippines.
Entries will be independently evaluated based on impact, sustainability, innovation, scalability and replicability, community engagement, strategic alignment, and communications and outreach.
The criteria put a premium on results rather than good intentions. A program may begin with a worthy cause, but the awards seek initiatives that can demonstrate what changed, how long the benefits can last, and whether the approach can work elsewhere.
That focus also gives the awards a broader role beyond recognizing winners. By showcasing programs that produce measurable outcomes, AmCham Philippines hopes to encourage businesses and nonprofits to develop initiatives that can be replicated and scaled.
The awards come as companies face growing expectations to show how their social and environmental commitments translate into concrete results for communities.
The 2026 CSI Awards will culminate in a gala ceremony on Nov. 18 at the Sheraton Manila Hotel in Pasay City, where the winning initiatives will be recognized.
For AmCham Philippines, the message is clear. Corporate social impact is no longer simply about giving back. It is increasingly about building programs that work, last, and can make a difference beyond their original reach.
