Prime Infrastructure Capital Inc. (Enrique K. Razon Jr., chairman) appointed ex-BP CEO Tony Hayward to its board, effective Aug 10, as it expands in the Philippines and overseas. Hayward remains chairman of SierraCol Energy—Colombia’s top independent oil & gas firm, acquired by Prime Infra in March as its key international upstream play.
“Tony’s global upstream experience will guide our growth and integration of new platforms like SierraCol, driving long-term value,” Razon said.
Hayward founded SierraCol in 2020; BP CEO 2007–2010, 28 years at the firm; Glencore chairman 2013–2021; holds geology degrees including PhD from University of Edinburgh, with academic and industry honors.
“I’m delighted to join. Prime Infra has strong infrastructure credentials, and I look forward to advancing its energy and broader growth,” Hayward said.
