Listed real estate developer Century Properties Group Inc. on Thursday reported income in the first three months of the year rising 35 percent to P410 million from year ago of P302 million on higher sales of its horizontal development projects.

Alliance Global Group Inc., the investment holding company of the Andrew Tan Group, said Thursday its board approved its subscription to 1.38 billion common shares of its property arm, Megaworld Corp.

Global Ferronickel Holdings Inc., a leading nickel ore producer in the Philippines, reported a sharp drop in first-quarter net income as a glut in the nickel industry sent prices sharply lower that nearly halved mining revenue during the period.

GT Capital Holdings Inc. said Thursday its banking, car and insurance businesses lifted first-quarter net income by 7 percent to P7.11 billion.

Leandro Leviste,  founder of Solar Philippines, one of the largest integrated solar farms developers, said his constant search for value has led him to the acquisition of a substantial stake in ABS-CBN Corp., whose bottomline has been bleeding red since Congress decided not to renew its broadcast franchise in 2020.
