Globe has kept its top ‘A’ rating in the 2025 CDP Supplier Engagement Assessment (SEA) for the second year running, underscoring its commitment to transparency, climate action, and responsible business practices throughout its value chain.
The CDP SEA measures how companies collaborate with suppliers on climate-related matters, covering governance, emission reduction targets, Scope 3 emissions management, and value chain engagement. An ‘A’ score places Globe among global supplier engagement leaders, showing it extends climate action beyond its own direct operations.
Yoly Crisanto, Globe chief sustainability and corporate communications officer, noted the rating reflects consistent effort: “This recognition proves our dedication to openness and collective climate work. By supporting our partners, we turn goals into real results.”
Globe embeds sustainability through its Supplier Code of Ethics and includes ESG criteria in procurement for electricity providers, equipment vendors, and packaging suppliers. It also uses AI tools to track supplier ESG performance and conducts training programs to help partners build stronger sustainability capabilities.
In the same 2025 cycle, Globe earned an ‘A-’ score for climate action and a ‘B’ for water stewardship from CDP. It also received other honors, including International Finance’s Best ESG Practices – Telecom Philippines 2025 and Standard Insights’ 2026 awards for Most Active Mobile Network for the Environment and Most Sustainable Mobile Network.
