Converge donates computers to Pampanga orphanage

Converge ICT Solutions Inc. shared the spirit of Christmas by donating three desktop computers to the Children’s Home of Eucharistic Love and Kindness (CHELK), an orphanage in Pampanga.

The donation aims to help the children with learning and to support their daily activities. Converge said the effort is part of its commitment to use technology to help communities and give back, especially during the holiday season.

Employees from Converge in Pampanga also held a Christmas party at the orphanage. The activity was part of their annual volunteer program, Project Lingap. The employees organized games, gave gifts, and shared food with the children.

This year marked the fourth time Converge employees have held a holiday activity at CHELK. Company officials said the program allows employees to share their time and show care beyond work.

Converge has supported CHELK in the past. In 2021, the company held a Christmas gift-giving activity and donated items for the orphanage’s permanent shelter. In 2022, it also provided learning tablets and internet service to help with online classes.

CHELK has been operating for more than 30 years and provides shelter, education, and care to orphaned, abandoned, and abused girls in Pampanga. The orphanage currently cares for about 20 children.
