BPI partners with Theatre Group Asia for 2026–2027 theater season

The Bank of the Philippine Islands (BPI) has partnered with Theatre Group Asia to support the group’s 2026–2027 “Season of Power,” a lineup of international and Philippine stage productions centered on themes of love, life, and art.

Under the partnership, BPI and Robinsons Bank cardholders can buy tickets through TicketWorld and receive perks such as 10 percent discounts on select merchandise, restaurants, and concessions inside the theater during show runs.

BPI said the collaboration aims to make world-class theater more accessible to Filipino audiences while supporting local talent and cultural storytelling.

The season opens with A Chorus Line, with performances scheduled from March 12 to 29, 2026 at the Samsung Performing Arts Theatre. The production will be directed and choreographed by Filipino creative Karla Puno Garcia and will feature Philippine-based performers alongside international artists of Filipino heritage.

Other productions in the “Season of Power” include:

The Notebook: The Musical — an international premiere in September 2026, based on the novel and film about enduring love and memory.

Ang Tahanan ni Bernarda Alba — a Philippine premiere in February 2027, adapted from the play by Federico García Lorca and exploring family dynamics and repression in a traditional household.

Sunday in the Park with George by Stephen Sondheim — a Philippine premiere in June 2027 inspired by painter Georges Seurat and the creative process.

BPI and Robinsons Bank cardholders will also receive exclusive pre-sale access to tickets for the productions.

Tickets can be purchased through TicketWorld using BPI or Robinsons Bank credit or debit cards, while supplies last.
