The Jollibee Group has secured one of the world’s highest workplace recognitions, earning the Gallup Exceptional Workplace Award (GEWA) with Distinction from Gallup for its outstanding employee engagement and people-first culture.
The distinction places the company among a select group of global organizations recognized for building high-performing, highly engaged workplaces. It also marks a major milestone for the Philippines, as Jollibee Group remains the only Philippine-based company to receive the prestigious award.
In a further show of consistency, the company also won the Gallup Engagement Award for the fifth consecutive year, reinforcing its long-standing commitment to prioritizing its workforce.
“This recognition affirms the kind of workplace we are building—one where people can grow, thrive, and do their best work,” said CEO Ernesto Tanmantiong, emphasizing that a Filipino company can compete alongside the world’s best employers.
The GEWA with Distinction is awarded to organizations that demonstrate measurable impact through strategies that strengthen engagement and drive performance.
Jollibee Group said the recognition reflects the success of its “Choose Joy” employee program, which focuses on purpose-driven work, career growth, and a strong sense of belonging among its workforce.
According to Arsenio Sabado, employee engagement is deliberately built through leadership, continuous feedback, and development initiatives—turning workplace culture into a strategic advantage.
The latest honor adds to a growing list of global accolades for the company, including recognition from Forbes and TIME, as well as Employer of the Year from the People Management Association of the Philippines.
As it expands its international footprint, Jollibee Group said it will continue to strengthen its employee-focused culture, positioning engagement and leadership at the core of its long-term growth strategy.
