Megaworld Corp., the listed property development arm of tycoon Andrew Tan, said it is set to turn over about P21 billion worth of major properties this year as it accelerates development across its township portfolio nationwide.
The company said upcoming handovers include residential units at Sunny Coast Residential Resort in Westside City, commercial lots at Northwin Main Street within Northwin Global City, and beachside residential lots at Paragua Beach Village, which sold out weeks after launch.
“We remain focused on continuing to establish our footprint in key areas around the country by delivering high-value properties in these tourism locations and business districts,” said Lourdes T. Gutierrez-Alfonso, president and chief executive officer of Megaworld.
The P12-billion Sunny Coast Residential Resort is located in Entertainment City in Parañaque, near the soon-to-be rebranded Mövenpick Manila Bay Westside. The two-tower development features units with private balconies and select bi-level layouts designed to maximize views of Manila Bay.
In Bulacan, the 16-hectare Northwin Main Street is an P8-billion commercial district within the 85-hectare Northwin Global City. The development is planned as a walkable business hub with commercial and shophouse lots surrounded by parks and open spaces.
Meanwhile, Paragua Beach Village forms part of the Paragua Coastown township in San Vicente, Palawan. The project offers residential lots near beach and forest areas, as well as commercial establishments such as Porto Boutique Hotel and the Mercato Shophouse District.
Megaworld also said it is preparing to begin land development for two new township projects, including the 84-hectare Ilocandia Coastown in Laoag City and the 25-hectare San Benito Private Estate in Lipa City, Batangas. The latter is being developed in partnership with the group behind The Farm at San Benito.
The company said these developments are expected to drive economic activity, generate employment, and support long-term growth in key regional areas.
