Cebu Pacific (CEB) has taken delivery of a new Airbus A320neo in Manila, the second of four such planes expected this year and part of a total seven NEO aircraft slated to join its fleet in 2026.
This delivery moves forward the airline’s ongoing modernization program. NEO models now make up 74 percent of CEB’s jet fleet, and use 15–20 percent less fuel than older planes while cutting noise and carbon emissions — supporting both cost efficiency and sustainability targets. According to CEB president Xander Lao, the aircraft help keep travel affordable while reinforcing the carrier’s environmental commitment.
With one of the world’s youngest fleets — including wide-body, single-aisle, and turboprop aircraft — CEB maintains the most extensive route network in the Philippines.
This expansion strengthens CEB’s ability to operate efficiently, lower its environmental impact, and sustain affordable fares, while its modern, varied fleet underpins broad domestic and regional connectivity.
