Alliance Select Foods International Inc. has appointed food industry executive Kirby J. Rasos as its new general manager, tapping a veteran business leader to oversee daily operations as the listed seafood processor pursues its next phase of growth.
The company said Rasos’ appointment takes effect July 1. He will report directly to Alliance Select’s board of directors and lead the company’s day-to-day operations.
Rasos brings more than two decades of leadership experience across the food, agribusiness, manufacturing and fast-moving consumer goods sectors.
Before joining Alliance Select, he served as group vice president of the Frabelle Group of Companies, one of the country’s major seafood and food businesses. Earlier, he held senior leadership roles within the San Miguel Group, where he helped develop commercial strategies that were later implemented nationwide.
A graduate of the University of the Philippines Diliman with a degree in Food Technology, Rasos has led business start-ups, corporate turnarounds, strategic partnerships and organizational transformation initiatives throughout his career.
His appointment comes as food manufacturers continue to navigate rising operating costs, shifting consumer demand and intensifying competition, making experienced operational leadership increasingly critical to sustaining growth and improving efficiency.
By bringing in an executive with a broad background spanning manufacturing, supply chain, sales, marketing and corporate strategy, Alliance Select appears to be reinforcing its management bench to strengthen execution and support its long-term business objectives.
