Manila Water Foundation and La Mesa Ecopark gathered youth leaders for World Environment Day 2026 under the theme #NowForClimate. Activities included a documentary screening, writing of personal eco-pledges, a nature walk, and planting of two rare Mangkono seedlings donated by the Malampaya Foundation. Participants also collected seeds for future propagation. The event comes ahead of the park’s Phase 2 opening this July, which will add more public spaces for nature and group activities.
