Building on successful runs in Luzon and the Visayas, Honda Philippines, Inc. (HPI) brought its nationwide Honda Riders Convention to Mindanao for the first time, holding the third and final leg in Cagayan de Oro on October 24, 2026. The gathering brought riders together in a vibrant celebration of shared passion, community, and empowerment, marking a major step in connecting the brand more deeply with motorcycle enthusiasts across the southern Philippines.
HPI President Takeshi Kobayashi said the Mindanao leg was more than just an event—it was about extending the joy of mobility and building meaningful connections rooted in trust among Filipino riders. The convention delivered an action-packed day filled with test rides, road safety seminars, product showcases, motorshows, e-sports activities, and a grand raffle, giving attendees a firsthand experience of what Honda has to offer. Participants also got to explore the MyHonda+ Philippines app, designed to make ownership more convenient.
A major highlight was the unveiling of the 2027 Honda Click160, featuring a bold new sporty design, darker aesthetic, and upgraded performance built to deliver an even more spirited ride. The event also put the spotlight on women in motorcycling, with Honda’s sponsored female motocross riders showcasing their skills in an off-road demonstration, reinforcing the company’s push for greater inclusivity and women’s empowerment within the riding community.
Beyond celebration and product reveals, Honda stepped up for community welfare. Partnering with the Cagayan de Oro local government and Honda Riders Club leaders, the convention hosted a blood donation drive that encouraged riders to donate and help replenish medical blood banks across Northern Mindanao. This CSR effort underscored how the riding community can come together to make a real difference.
As the 2026 convention series wraps up, Honda thanked Mindanao’s riders for their continued trust and support. The event not only strengthened bonds across regions but also reaffirmed the company’s commitment to better mobility, road safety, women’s inclusion, and building a united, welcoming riding culture that serves Filipinos everywhere.
