Tech giants Zoho boosts Philippine investments with news agentic AI and unified software solutions

Global technology firm Zoho Corporation has announced a deeper investment in the Philippines to meet the country’s surging demand for integrated, AI-ready business software. The expansion coincides with the Philippine government’s aggressive push to grow its digital economy to 12 percent of gross domestic product (GDP) and lead regional discussions on responsible AI adoption during its 2026 ASEAN chairmanship.

While public policy momentum is driving local businesses to modernize, many organizations still face fragmented technology infrastructure. A recent industry report by Zoho revealed that nearly two-thirds of businesses in the Asia-Pacific region run more than 15 separate applications, and the majority lack complete visibility into their workforce identity and security systems. This digital fragmentation complicates the adoption of modern AI technologies.

In response to these challenges, Zoho reported a 21 percent year-on-year revenue growth in the Philippines for 2025 and surpassed one million paying customers globally in early 2026. The company attributes this growth to its unique approach of consolidating business applications, AI tools, and security features onto a single, integrated platform rather than managing them as separate investments.

At its annual Zoholics user conference in Manila, Zoho showcased the next phase of its technology strategy, focusing on automated digital agents, platform unification, and secure infrastructure. The company introduced Zia Agents, which allows businesses to deploy autonomous digital assistants across more than 50 business products. This new system includes pre-built agents for roles like customer support and human resources, a low-code studio for building customized tools, and a digital marketplace for sharing specialized agents.

Additionally, Zoho highlighted the recent evolution of Zoho One, its all-in-one business software platform that aggregates AI capabilities into a single interface for over 75,000 customers worldwide. The system embeds intelligence directly into daily workflows, allowing users to make contextual decisions without buying separate AI tools.

Company leadership emphasized that Zoho’s strategy allows Filipino businesses to adopt advanced AI capabilities while balancing ownership costs, maintaining data privacy, and retaining operational control. To protect user privacy, Zoho confirms that customer data is never used to train generic AI models, and its proprietary language models are hosted entirely within its own data centers.
