Budget airline relaunches Manila – Kaohsiung flights

Cebu Pacific has resumed the Manila-Kaohsiung route, offering increased connectivity between the Philippines and Taiwan.

The destination is now serviced thrice weekly – every Monday, Wednesday, and Friday.

CEB chief corporate affairs officer Michael Ivan Shau said the Manila-Kaohsiung route marks an exciting chapter in the airline’s journey as it continues to expand its network and enhance connectivity across Asia.

“The relaunch of this route is more than just the restoration of a connection between two vibrant cities. It is a reaffirmation of our commitment to bringing people together, fostering closer ties, and promoting mutual growth and development,” Shau said.

Transportation Secretary Jaime Bautista lauded the CEB for initiatives catering to travelers from the Philippines.

“I am very happy that Cebu Pacific is expanding its operations. We have the same objective of providing a comfortable, accessible, safe, sustainable, and affordable travel experience to the riding public,” Bautista said.

To encourage more passengers to fly, Cebu Pacific is offering one-way base fare as low as P1,288 exclusive of fees and surcharges from Manila to Kaohsiung from 16 to 25 August this year.

The travel period is from 16 August 2024 to 31 January 2025, allowing travelers to explore Kaohsiung right away with the exclusive seat sale.

Cebu Pacific flies to 35 domestic and 26 international destinations across Asia, Australia, and the Middle East.
