Converge expands Leyte footprint with new business centers in Tacloban, Ormoc

Converge ICT Solutions Inc. has launched two new business centers here in Tacloban and Ormoc, broadening its customer service network across the province of Leyte.

The new facilities underscore the company’s commitment to meeting rising demand for reliable, high-speed internet across growing markets, said John Paul Aguilar, Converge senior vice president and consumer business group officer-in-charge.

“As more households, schools, businesses, and government agencies in the region adopt digital tools, these dedicated service points let us deliver support faster and build stronger connections with our customers,” Aguilar added.

Home to more than 1.82 million people, Leyte is the most populous province in Eastern Visayas, with Tacloban and Ormoc standing as key centers for trade, education, public services, and new business. The new hubs place Converge’s services closer to subscribers, offering easier access for new subscriptions, help with account concerns, technical support, and digital solutions.

Beyond improving service, the centers will advance digital transformation across the region and reinforce Converge’s push to close the digital gap and bring world-class connectivity to more Filipino communities, said Bryan King Kay, senior vice president and head of enablement at Converge.

“These new sites are more than just extra service channels — they represent a long-term investment in local economic growth, better digital access, and a stronger future for all of Eastern Visayas,” Kay noted.

Customers can visit the centers to pay bills, report technical problems, upgrade plans, request repairs, ask questions, or submit applications. Driven by its goal of inclusive connectivity, Converge continues to expand into underserved areas nationwide, with a growing presence across Visayas and Mindanao through new service hubs and faster network rollout.
