DMCI Homes Inc., the property development arm of the Consunji Group, announced Wednesday its Solmera Beach Park Resort is set to drive tourism growth and establish San Juan, Batangas as a leading destination for both leisure travelers and corporate gatherings.
Alfredo R. Austria, DMCI Homes president, said the 7.5-hectare beachfront property, scheduled to open in February 2027, centers on a large-scale convention and events infrastructure designed to accommodate up to 1,000 guests. The development features an 811-square-meter main function hall paired with a 419-square-meter veranda, alongside additional function spaces within its on-site condotels—all set to begin accepting bookings for next year’s events in the near future. Operated by DMCI Hospitality and Leisure Inc., the resort will offer studio, one-bedroom, and two-bedroom suites, a 4,000-square-meter pool complex, varied dining outlets, and expansive landscaped lawns and open-air areas for both indoor and outdoor corporate functions, conferences, training sessions, and group activities.
Though roughly a two- to three-hour drive from Metro Manila, San Juan has emerged as an accessible beach destination and is rapidly gaining traction as a preferred venue for corporate and institutional events, Austria noted. He emphasized the town’s unique natural assets position it to become one of the country’s premier beach destinations, with the resort poised to stimulate broader economic activity across the local hospitality ecosystem—creating opportunities for local suppliers, transport operators, tourism partners, and other service-oriented businesses that stand to benefit from increased visitor arrivals.
